Meet Dr. Alex Cappai
Dr. Alessandra (Alex) Cappai is the founder of Diverse Minds Clinic. She is a Consultant in General Adult and Forensic Psychiatry, with specialist experience in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions.Alex currently works as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the NHS at the Barnet ADHD Service, alongside leading the clinic’s private practice in London. Her work spans both community and forensic settings, where she has focused on improving care pathways for adults with neurodevelopmental conditions.She has been involved in Quality Improvement and medical research, with her work published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. These experiences inform a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to clinical care.At the heart of Alex’s work is a commitment to careful listening, accurate diagnosis, and treatment that reflects the individual rather than a checklist.
